the SIRB Project

Welcome to the website of the SIRB Project The SIRB is an application environment which is able to guarantee privacy in today's digital world. The SIRB is a Secure Information Exchange (SIX) type application.

The basic workings of the environment have been designed and documented. It is invented in 2000-2001 by Michael Hauber, Michael Doujak and Joseph Doekbrijder, at the time working for think digital gmbh, SwissSecure AG and S.W.I.S. GROUP GmbH respectively. A patent for the SIRB was applied for by SwissSign AG whom was given full ownership of the idea by the three inventors. SwissSign is currently owned by Swiss Post who decided to not further pursue the SIRB patent application. The SIRB idea is thus currently part of the public domain.
